InterArms was a major U.S.-based firearms importer known for bringing military surplus and commercial firearms to the American market. The brand gained recognition for offering reliable, affordable, and well-built rifles and handguns from around the world.
Founded in 1953 by Sam Cummings, InterArms quickly rose to fame by supplying firearms from Europe and Asia. Based in Virginia, the company played a key role in arming collectors, hunters, and sportsmen during the Cold War era.
Notable models include the InterArms Mark X bolt-action rifle, the 22-ATD semi-auto .22LR, and the classic InterArms AK47. These guns are praised for their durability, traditional styling, and practical performance.
